Yiwu (Jinhua) is one of China's national block-train consolidation hubs, and its Yiwu–Europe (Yixin'ou) service has run a regular Trans-Caspian product to Baku since September 2020. Cargo exits at Khorgos or Alashankou, crosses Kazakhstan to Aktau, and crosses the Caspian to Baku — no transit through Russia. Transit is 20–25 days to Baku.
Yiwu supplies the world's largest small-commodity market: consumer goods, hardware, textiles, toys and seasonal products. The Jinhua–Baku Trans-Caspian product has run at least weekly since 2020 — by September 2025 it had accumulated 237 trains and about 19,470 TEU. Since June 2025 there is also a second Caspian crossing via Bekdash / Turkmenbashi in Turkmenistan, which eases pressure on Aktau and saves roughly a day. Cargo loads at Yiwu West station, exits at Khorgos (or Alashankou), and finishes at Alat / Baku. The route avoids Russia.

Light but bulky cargo is the norm here: container utilisation by volume is the main cost lever, so send the carton dimensions and weights with the enquiry.
20–25 days door to door, with the Caspian sailing connection as the main variable.
No. It runs China → Kazakhstan → Caspian → Azerbaijan.
Yes. Yiwu's market-procurement exports run by rail as standard practice; declaration data must match the actual loaded goods item by item, which we verify at stuffing.
Same trunk corridor; the difference is the domestic leg and current capacity. We quote both in one request and let the numbers decide.
