There is no LCL warehouse in Shenzhen. Cargo is picked up there and consolidated in Xi'an, then loaded into the same Moscow or St. Petersburg container as cargo from Xi'an. The rail days do not get shorter because the pickup was in Shenzhen.
The consolidation warehouse is in Xi'an, 6,000 m². Pearl River Delta cargo is trucked in, measured and checked, then loaded for Moscow or St. Petersburg. It is not rebooked as ocean freight at Shenzhen port, and it does not start a separate train in Shenzhen.
| Destination | Rail transit after Xi'an departure | Station |
|---|---|---|
| Moscow | 18–25 days | Selyatino, via Manzhouli / Zabaykalsk |
| St. Petersburg | 25–30 days | Shushary |
The domestic leg from Shenzhen to Xi'an is quoted separately and depends on the pickup date. A near-full container should use China-Russia FCL and can load at a southern terminal instead of coming to the LCL warehouse.
Samples, parts and replenishment: hardware, auto parts, machinery spares, consumer goods. Rating is by cubic metre. The minimum CBM is confirmed at booking. Dangerous goods, lithium batteries and goods containing batteries do not go into the LCL container.
No. Consolidation is in Xi'an. Shenzhen is a pickup point.
Moscow is 18–25 days and St. Petersburg is 25–30 days after the train leaves Xi'an. Shenzhen to Xi'an is extra and is not inside that range.
Tehran LCL also leaves the Xi'an warehouse, at 28–35 days. See LCL to Tehran. Lithium still does not go LCL.
