A dedicated Xi'an–Baku rail LCL service for cargo that does not fill a container. Freight is consolidated at our own warehouse in Xi'an and leaves on 1–2 fixed departures every week, running the cross-Caspian rail-sea-rail corridor to Baku in a reference 20–25 days station to station. The route avoids Russia entirely.
We have operated China–Baku rail FCL services since 2024 and are among the earlier forwarders on this lane. Demand from smaller shippers kept growing, and there was no reliable Baku groupage schedule — cargo short of a full container either had to wait for a consolidation or take a detour. So we extended our LCL capability to Baku as well.
Cargo is consolidated, packed and cleared at our own LCL warehouse in Xi'an, then moves via Khorgos (Alashankou) and the cross-Caspian rail-sea-rail corridor to Baku, with 1–2 fixed departures per week and a reference transit time of 20–25 days station to station. Because the route crosses the Caspian rather than transiting Russia, it stays available to cargo the northern corridors cannot carry.

If your cargo falls in the right-hand column, please do not quote it as standard LCL — contact us first to confirm transport and compliance conditions. Forcing such cargo into a consolidation puts every shipper in the container at shared risk.
Below roughly 10–13 CBM, LCL usually offers a lower unit cost and a more regular schedule; above that, FCL is generally the better choice. For Xi'an–Baku FCL see the Xi'an to Baku rail freight page.

No. It runs Trans-Caspian — out via Khorgos or Alashankou, then across the Caspian to Baku. That keeps the lane open to cargo the northern corridors cannot carry.
1–2 fixed departures per week, backed by ample cargo volume. We dispatch to a fixed schedule and do not depend on last-minute consolidation, so your delivery date is not tied to whether a container happens to fill up.
From 1 revenue ton, charged by W/M — the greater of volume (CBM) and weight (tonnes). Shipments below 1 revenue ton are still charged as 1.
Suitable: building materials and hardware, auto parts, mechanical and electrical spares, consumer goods and packaging materials in small to mid-size batches. Not suitable: dangerous goods, lithium batteries and battery-containing products, out-of-gauge or over-weight cargo, and goods under international control or requiring special licences — these need separate confirmation of transport and compliance conditions.
Below roughly 10–13 CBM, LCL usually offers a lower unit cost with a regular schedule; above that, FCL is generally better. See the Xi'an to Baku FCL page for full containers.
