Freight forwarder and customs broker in one. We file the export declaration in China in our own name, handle HS classification and licence checks, and coordinate destination clearance for Europe, Russia, Azerbaijan and Iran — including DDP door-to-door with duty and VAT paid. The part most forwarders leave vague is the part that decides whether the goods clear; on this page it is written plainly.
Clearance is two operations, not one: getting the cargo out of China, and getting it in at the destination. Most problems that stop a box happen in the second half, and they are usually document problems that could have been caught before departure. We work both ends.
| Stage | What we do |
|---|---|
| Pre-departure checks | HS classification, licence and eligibility checks, and a review of the documents you need before the box is sealed. Commodities that need a pre-check — dangerous goods, lithium batteries, out-of-gauge pieces, food and controlled goods — are assessed before booking |
| China export declaration | The export customs declaration is filed in our own name, at the customs office for the departure terminal, before the box leaves |
| Border formalities | Export recheck, transit documents (T1 for the EU), and gauge-change coordination at the border |
| Destination clearance | Coordination of import clearance with our overseas agents for the EU, Russia, Azerbaijan and Iran — the entries, the duty and the release |
| DDP door-to-door | We arrange destination import clearance and pay duty and VAT, then deliver. Duty and VAT are quoted as their own line so the freight rate stays transparent |
The two terms are not interchangeable, and using the wrong one is one of the most common costly mistakes on a China–Europe rail lane.
| DAP (Delivered at Place) | DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) | |
|---|---|---|
| Import clearance | Consignee clears | We clear |
| Duty and VAT | Consignee pays | We pay, quoted as their own line |
| Final delivery | To the named place | To the door, cleared |
| Best for | Buyers with their own import status and broker | Buyers who want one landed price and no customs work |
Fix the term before booking. Who clears and who pays changes the price and the paperwork, and a term agreed late is a delay at the border.
| Document | Note |
|---|---|
| Commercial invoice | Buyer, seller, description, quantity, unit price, total, Incoterm. The description must match the goods |
| Packing list | Pieces, weight, volume per package |
| HS code | Classified by us if needed. A wrong code triggers a border or clearance review |
| Certificate of origin | Required on some routes and can reduce part of the destination duty — for example under the China–Georgia FTA |
| SMGS consignment note | The rail transport document issued under the SMGS convention, in the role of an ocean bill of lading on the China–Iran rail corridor |
| T1 transit / EORI | For the EU, T1 transit documents and EORI registration, handled with our overseas agents |
| UN38.3 / MSDS | For lithium batteries and battery-containing goods. Dangerous goods and controlled goods need transport conditions confirmed separately |
| Wood packaging (ISPM 15) | Wood packaging must meet ISPM 15 and carry a clear IPPC mark — one of the items most often checked when a box is opened at random |
This is a process note. Controls, duty and quarantine follow current rules at the destination and the goods on the file.
The transport is rarely the problem. The failures are in preparation. These are the ones we see most often, and the ones we check before departure.
Yes. We are a MOFCOM-registered international freight forwarder and we file the China export declaration in our own name. Destination clearance is coordinated with our overseas agents for the EU, Russia, Azerbaijan and Iran, including DDP where the duty and VAT are on our side.
HS classification, licence and eligibility checks, and the export declaration filed at the customs office for the departure terminal. Commodities that need a pre-check — dangerous goods, lithium batteries, controlled and food goods — are assessed before booking.
If you have your own import status and broker, DAP is usually cheaper and you control the entry. If you want one landed price and no customs work, DDP puts the clearance and the duty and VAT on us. Fix the term before booking.
Dangerous goods, lithium batteries and battery-containing goods have to be confirmed separately before booking, with UN38.3, MSDS and a transport-conditions report. Send the description and HS code first; we confirm it can move before we price it.
China export declaration is usually the same working day. Destination clearance is normally a few days; an exam or a missing paper extends it. Build that into the delivery plan.
